Centrum Pile is proud to be the UK’s leading and most advanced manufacturer of continuously reinforced precast concrete piles using the most advanced technology available.
We manufacture on average 1,000,000 linear metres of precast piles every year. Established in the UK in 1993, our production facility has been continually developed to enable the manufacture of our high quality, reinforced concrete pile system.
Our factory, based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, is fully automated for the pile manufacturing process, with concrete mixed on site, an automated pour, set, and demould process, and overhead cranes utilised to load our piles onto wagons.
The Centrum Pile System begins with a continuously reinforced precast concrete pile, cast in standard square sections from 200mm to 400mm and from 4m in length, increasing in 1m increments to standard lengths of up to 14m. Discover all elements of the Centrum Pile System.
Our team is comprised of 70 dedicated employees who work around the clock to ensure the quality of our piles and the safety of our factory. Our office team collaborate efficiently and effectively with our production and maintenance teams to ensure maximum production output and efficiency is maintained at all times.
Centrum Pile strives to ensure the quality of our products, which is why our factory is accredited to ISO 9001 and our piles are manufactured in line with BS EN 12794. We offer full traceability on our piles using a barcode system and our suppliers are vetted rigorously to ensure the best quality product.
We exchange experience and knowledge with our factory's European branches in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and Poland. Founded in Denmark in 1965, Centrum Pile strives for the continuous development and improvement of the quality of our precast products across Europe. Our main aim is high quality, consistent products which can be utilised for driven precast piling in almost any ground conditions.
Centrum Pile has recognised that concern for the environment should be an integral and fundamental part of our business. We conduct our operations and maintain our state-of-the-art facilities in line with a commitment to enhancing our environmental performance. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure we are operating as environmentally friendly of a facility as possible and we maintain an open information policy towards the concerns of local communities and all other parties. We focus in on sustainability as a group theme, using it to guide our business decisions and continuously strive to consider where precast concrete sits within a net zero world. We work with the wider industry and process improvement to ensure we are at the forefront of research and development in this area.
